2004.3.2 Contracted with Maruko of Japan to license and export raw materials for itraconazole

On March 2, 2004, Choongwae Pharmaceutical signed a license and raw material export contract with Maruko of Japan for an antifungal drug'Itraconazole'. Choongwae Pharmaceutical has succeeded in improving stability and bioavailability by improving the poorly soluble itraconazole through continuous research.

1998.3.4 Choongwae Medical and HITACHI signed a strategic alliance with each other

On March 4, 1998, Choongwae Medical entered into a strategic alliance with Hitachi Medical, a global medical device company.On July 20, the two companies established a joint venture dedicated to A/S from the development of medical imaging diagnostic devices for the first time in Korea. This served as a progressive opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of Chinese and foreign Medical.

1983.3.7 Choongwae Pharmaceutical's headquarters moved to Gangnam

In March 1983, Choongwae Pharmaceutical relocated its headquarters from the Hawolgok-dong office to the Gangnam Ginam building. The Ginam Building was used as the headquarters until the Shindaebang-dong office building was completed in November 1986.

1979.3.28 Groundbreaking ceremony for the factory of Choongwae Machinery (currently JW Medical)

Founded in 1977, Choongwae Machinery (now JW Medical) built a new plant on the site of Choongwae Pharmaceutical's Byeongjeom plant to keep pace with the expansion of the company. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 28, 1979, with executives and employees attending, including President Lee Jong-ho and then CEO Lee Seong-hoon of Choongwae Machinery.

1974.3 Exported 「5% fructose」to Japan

In March 1974, Daehan Choongwae Pharmaceutical introduced the basic infusion drug '5% fructose' to the Japanese market through Jugai Pharmaceuticals. At the time, the export of finished products for injections to Japan, a country with advanced pharmaceutical products, meant that the company was recognized internationally as a therapeutic agent.
